The Consultants Agency is a specialist search and selection agency catering for the requirements of Consultant grade doctors and dentists who wish to work in the UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Arab Emirates or Saudi Arabia for either short, long or permanent positions. We are delighted to be part of the new NHS PASA National Contract starting 1st July 2008 and also continue to be registered with the OISC to be able to obtain UK work permits for suitable overseas consultants once we have found positions for them.
We provide a professional, efficient and friendly service matching the needs and requirements of our Consultant doctors to those of the relevant Health Trusts. In order to provide the most relaxed and personal service possible we will appoint you with an individual advisor who specialises in placements in your field of expertise. From the initial contact, to organising and arranging all the paperwork in order to enable you to work overseas; to finalising employment details, arranging accommodation and ensuring a smooth passage into your new position we will be with you each step of the way.
Our aim is to ensure that you are able to take this opportunity to work in a new country in the knowledge that the process will be made as simple and efficient as possible, so that you may arrive relaxed and secure in your new post. We have a number of select positions available, both locum and permanent for Consultants and GPs that we are endeavouring to fill. Please note that this is a completely free service to the doctors.

As we are now part of the NHS PASA Contract it is mandatory that we undertake face to face interviews, CRB and Occupational Health checks before placing doctors into locum positions. We pay for these ourselves but it does involve the doctors filling in the OH forms and signing the CRB documents as well as meeting up with one of our directors. We are flying over for interviews to various EU countries as well as holding interviews in the UK so its just a matter of letting us know your location and availability.
