Working In New Zealand

It is now easier for EU doctors to be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand, as many EU countries are now listed as a comparable health environment.  If English is not the primary language, then they would be required to sit the IELTS, an English language spoken and written test.

Under a new health act, South African doctors trained after 1977 would have difficulty getting registered, due to a ruling on the ‘comparable health system’, although if they were trained before it, registration is not a problem. US doctors would have no difficulty neither would UK trained doctors.  For other nationalities please contact us for more details as it depends on training etc.

We will handle the registration process, visa requirements and relocation issues such as housing etc to ensure a smooth passage into a new and exciting experience. You would always have a contact in New Zealand once you were there to speak to in case of difficulties.
